I only want to open port 80 and 443 open for the internet and block all the other port,
How to create such a filter ? -
To create Port filtering policy follow the steps below:
1)First, you need to go on the Content Filtering section
2)Click on Port Filtering
3) Now you will see different categories
(WiJunlge offer 50+ categories for Port Filtering)OR
3) If you want to create manual categories you can also do it
Click can Add Port category
(provide the name and description(optional))
3.1)Rule
In this option, you have three choices
a. Inbound (All Traffic) (It will filter all the incoming traffic)
b. Inbound (New Traffic) (It will filter all the New incoming traffic)
c. Outbound (It will filter all the Outgoing traffic)3.2)Protocol
(you can choose the protocol you want to filter
a.TCP (you also have to mention the ports )
b.UDP (you also have to mention the ports )
c.SCTP (you also have to mention the ports )you can also choose Port Host Group
4) Click on ADD
You can also Create Port Exception group(as per requirement)
5)Click on ADD PORT EXCEPTION
6)Now you have to follow the same step as above mention
Now our category is ready we can make policy now
7)Click on ADD PORT POLICY
Provide the name and as well as starting and end time
(admin can also start and end the policy at a specific time of the day)8)Click on ADD
9) Now you will see different categories
(you can click on the checkbox to include the categories and you
can also select the starting and end time. You can also add
Exception group )9)Click on APPLY
Now that your Port policy is ready now you have to create filtering policy
10)Go to Content Filtering / Filtering Policy
11)provide the policy name
12)Select the Port policy which created
13)Click on Create
Now that your filter policy is ready you can apply it on the group
