Router Optimization

WiJungle’s proprietary operating system, which features separate data, control, and management planes with distinct protection policies, now supports:

1. Centralized Management: This optional feature if subscribed, offers management of multiple routers (Up to 1M) via single centralized management console.

2. Route Features: Added support to forward multicast packets, allowing routing protocols that use multicast (such as OSPF) to be supported in the DMVPN network. Also added support for L2VPN, EVPN, L3VPN, Segment Routing, VRF, BFD & IPv4 tunneling protocols along with multicast features like IGMP v1/v2/v3, PIM-DM, PIM-SM, Source Specific Multicast (SSM).

3. Network: Added support for Link Aggregation (LACP), Multilink point to point protocol (MLPP), Frame Relay, Multilink frame relay (MLFR) (FR.15 and FR.16) and Ethernet Virtual Circuits (EVCs).

4. Load Balancing: This optional feature if subscribed, enables support for adding multiple internet lines and creating weighted active-active, active-police policies among them.

5. User Management: This optional feature if subscribed, enables admin to enable captive portal and set username and password for end user authentication.

6. VPN: This optional feature if subscribed, enables admin to provide support for SSL, GRE, IPSEC, L2TP, PPTP VPN.

7. IPS: WiJungle IDPS have signature and anomaly base intrusion detection and prevention system with more than 98,000+ signatures. It can detect, respond to and alert any unauthorized activity as well as detect incidents that originate from inside the network perimeter as well as from outside the network perimeter and shall be able to take action on the basis of configured policies. Signatures are automatically updated through our threat cloud. It is capable to detect and block all known high risk exploits and the underlying vulnerability and block all known high risk exploits, callback activities using FFSN, pdf & flash emulation etc. and the underlying vulnerability (not just one exploit of that vulnerability) and is able to work in asymmetric traffic environment.

8. Alert Mangement: This feature enables admin to enable alert via Email, Telegram etc. if one of the events like link up/down occurs.

9. SD-WAN Support: This feature has been added. It has extensive support for SLA monitoring for metrics like delay/latency, jitter, packet loss and adaptive routing (BGP, OSPF, PBR, Static etc.) adjustments by doing routing path selection between different connections like MPLS, ILL, VDSL, DSL, LTE, USB Dongle or broadband etc. to intelligently control the traffic to maximize the quality of the user experience. Load balancing & Routing can be based on various parameters like source/Destination address/service, User/User group & applications. Also, you can enable application specific steering along with QoS as well which can be done on the same access rule or can be configured separately. Also, for ipv6 we have enabled support for Multicast Routing, NAT46, NAT64, NAT66, DNS64 & DHCPv6.
